Account Monitoring Manager,El Monte - California - USA,Responsibilities and Requirements : Duties1. Research and develop loss prevention and control procedures and communicate procedural information using Operations Circulars. 2. Review and analyze a variety of operational reports including the Kiting Suspect Report, Overdraft Report, Large Transaction Report, Suspense Report. 3. Respond to inquiries from branches and other units regarding losses, potential losses or other risk related problems. 4. Investigate losses due to forgery, kiting, altered checks, overdrafts, new account schemes, unauthorized ATM withdrawals, mysterious disappearances, operational errors and other fraudulent activities. Review charge-offs and reports of possible loss to determine whether recovery of loss is probable. 5. Analyze loss trends and develops loss profiles to assist in loss control. Make recommendations on specific risk issues; recommend and implement controls and procedures, and assist in staff awareness to minimize loss exposure. Basic 1. College degree with business classes preferred 2. 3 to 6 years branch operations experience required. Previous experience as an Operations Officer/Supervisor. 3. Good understanding of overall banking rules and standard practices. 4. Good understanding of various forms of legal process requirements and the resulting bank responsibilities. 5. Procedure development and writing skills preferred. 6. PC literate with typing proficiency. 7. English proficiency. 8. Detail-oriented, strong communication skills both orally and in writing, and ability to function in a team environment. 9. Bilingual (English and Mandarin or Cantonese) a plus. 10. Ability to develop and implement new processes. 11. Knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code. 12. Thorough understanding of Bank operations, organizational structure, support systems, regulatory issues and related policies and procedures.
