Job description:
The Noramtec Group is seeking a NetApp Systems Engineer with strong Windows infrastructure experience who will lead the architecture and implementation activities with clients installing storage solutions. The scope of responsibilities will include the storage infrastructure, server-side applications, and ancillary technologies that run on Microsoft Windows or involve the client’s network and backup infrastructure.

Skills: 5 years experience designing, building, and running enterprise computing. Deep familiarity with the Netapp and Microsoft Windows product line. Extensive hands-on and current knowledge of the Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, network protocols, Microsoft Clustering, Windows Load Balancing, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook email infrastructure (in a multi-site configuration), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Terminal Services,, Symantec Enterprise Vault, BackupExec/Netbackup/ Brightstor, VMWare ESX Server, applications (such as the Microsoft Office suite), and Windows network configurations in a global enterprise environment. Proven experience implementing storage, server and desktop management systems and incorporating monitoring tools into the daily operational processes for managing computing infrastructures. Must be able to work within a structured technology management process and methodology which includes defining project plans, writing documentation, implementing best practices for systems management, and employing appropriate change management principles. A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of academic study.
