A technology related Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience plus 7 years of related experience. A Master's degree plus 5 years of related experience or a doctorate degree is preferred. Requires demonstrated technical expertise in the development of advanced integrated circuits and mask designs.
Spansion is embarking on the design of a new family of Data Storage Flash memory products in 40nm and 30 nm technology with 8-32Gb density. Circuit design expert with Flash memory or related experience is needed for handling the design from first concept through to production. The qualified candidate will have expert, in-depth knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuits with hands on experience using circuit simulation tools at transistor level (e.g. HSPICE, HSIM). Experience with low current sensing techniques and high speed I/O preferred. Knowledge of high voltage techniques is also desired. Reasonable knowledge of digital circuit techniques and methodology is also desired with experience using Verilog simulator. Integrating the circuit blocks for the whole product into chip-wide simulation is a necessary skill. Other important attributes are: knowledge of memory architectures, ability to develop new circuit functions from basic concepts, ability to decide preferred design direction for optimum performance and cost. Candidate should have excellent problem solving skills, creative thinker, inventive and good communication. |
