A Master's degree plus 5 years of related experience or a doctorate degree is preferred. Requires demonstrated technical expertise in the development of advanced integrated circuits and mask designs.
Spansion is embarking on the design of a new family of Data Storage Flash memory products in 40nm and 30nm technology with 8-32Gb density. Circuit design engineers with Flash memory or related experience are needed for handling the design from first concept through to production. The qualified candidate will have a sound knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuits with hands on experience using circuit simulation tools at transistor level (e.g. HSPICE, HSIM). Experience with low current sensing techniques and high speed I/O is a plus. Knowledge of high voltage techniques is also desired. Integrating the circuit blocks for the whole product into chip-wide simulation is also a preferred skill. A working knowledge of Verilog will be beneficial. Candidate should have excellent problem solving skills, creative thinker, inventive and good communication. |
