Position located in Beijing, China.
We have an opportunity for a qualified individual to provide administrative and business support to contract activities related to research programs in China. This person will assist the business manager for making contacts with researchers in the Chinese government, universities, non-governmental organizations, and the pharmaceutical industry to promote Westat's services for their projects.
Responsibilities will also include making presentations about Westat's services. Additional responsibilities may include assisting business manager with financial management procedures; creating payment vouchers; reviewing vendor invoices; maintaining data in a customized financial management database and in Excel spreadsheets; generating routine and ad hoc financial reports; and filing documents related to financial and contract activities. Successful candidates should have experience in marketing and project management, with excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication skills, fluency in Mandarin and English, and superior attention to detail.
A bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant administrative and financial experience are required.
