POSITION SUMMARY The Customer Information and Insights team has the mandate to integrate sources of customer data and provide value-added insights to a wide cross-section of the organization. The candidate will be offered chances to interact with a large cross-section of RIM including but not limited to Marketing, Product Management, IT and Industrial Design. As a part of the Customer Information and Insights team, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting primary research and driving customer insights throughout the organization to support marketing and strategy development. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will: • Identify, assess and proactively recommend research projects that add value to the company's understanding of the needs, behaviors, motivations and perceptions of customers and key prospect targets • Plan, direct and execute marketing research programs that will fuel customer-centric marketing strategies and programs • Utilize research to identify opportunities for competitive advantage and strategic insights for new products and services, marketing plans, promotional and communication efforts, customer experience and business tactics • Manage vendor relationships and be responsible for recommending and deploying appropriate research methodologies • Participate in and support marketing strategic planning • Create communication tools and aids for sharing research findings with key stakeholders Skills: ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
